And just general hanging out with Phil, a.k.a. my other half.
This is the first relationship I think I've been in where I don't have to be scared about anything.

I've been sick on and off for 3 weeks.
Being sick for those 3 weeks finally led me to having laryngitis this weekend, which is now thankfully almost healed.
I'm changing my mind again about my career, but it's not for sure. This art class has really had me hating art lately though.
I put my speech off until the last minute, and will be writing it tomorrow. Hopefully, my professor doesn't grade as hard as I think, and I can still easily pass.
Phil buying me Harvest Moon DS Cute created a monster.
Speaking of Phil, he still rocks. ♥ I love him more than I ever loved another guy.
I don't think there's much else to cover.

I have effectively psyched myself out.
School, as cliche as this sounds, is teh suck. I have exactly a month left, and I'm going nuts.
That plus (possible side effects of) HBC = waaaay more hypersensitive than ever. Woo.
I felt sick today, so I went in and then told my boss I couldn't make it (because it was too late to call). My schedule is getting a renovation now, so I guess I won't be closing anymore and... I can't tell if that's good or not. I'll be able to get home at a decent hour now, but I also feel like I'm letting people down. And if anyone knows me, I hate hate hate letting people down.
Why am I even on here? I wonder. I guess I'll go lie down for the moment.

I've never been this happy before. And it's all because I don't have to deal with you.
Or you. Or especially you.
(However, I will add that what makes me the happiest is you. Yes, you there.)
I work 3 days a week now. The other four I'm either doing my homework or hanging out with Phil.
Eeeep: I have a speech to deliver and an art history test the same day. I wouldn't hate it, if my art professor wasn't psycho if I liked the 18th century a little more than I do.
You know, there's just not a lot going on right now. Just the same old thing. :)

I'm going there today with the other three. :)
Cold weather and a ton of mountains from what I hear.
School is good, too. Art probably takes up more time than the professor should be allowed, but that's o.k. Work is fine too, just doing my cashier thing, without the mint-green vest (it's a dark green polo + khakis now).
I'm off to go see what the other side of my state looks like, or one side of it.

+ Probably seeing Radiohead too, when they come here
+ Hanging out with Phil all day to help him clean his apartment/play pool(?)
Anyway, I didn't have a lot to say to start with. It's just going good.

I went in for orientation tonight, and it's hardly different from Publix at all. I signed a billion and one papers, so now I'm employed! Woo.
Phil moved in yesterday. :) The new place is sweet, and only 15 minutes away. Needless to say, I'm really happy that he's here.

The uniforms are snazzier... about as snazzy as green polos and khakis can get.
I won't be working a whole lot, but it'll give me some more time to hang out with my friends.

Trip
+: saw most of the people I cared a lot about seeing; went to Publix again; went to Skyline; tried real Cuban food for the first time and liked it; saw the Simpsons Movie; got to see Phil every day
-: didn't see everyone I wanted to (sorry guys!!); kind of forgot to call home while I've been gone
I get to meet Phil's mom (and her boyfriend) and his stepbrother and stepsister tonight. Going out to dinner. Then I leave tomorrow morning. No lie, I'm a wee bit nervous.

There's ice on the grass here. It tripped me out this morning (almost literally).
Anyway, I'm trying to think of something profound to write, but I don't have much. It messes with my head that I may only have one or two more Christmas holidays with my family, and then I'll probably move out... but that's still kind of far off, so I don't know for sure when it'll happen.
My sister is moving up here at around the weekend I come back from my trip. She got a job at a really good school here. She might have to live with us for a little bit until Jesse can get up here too. I don't think it should be long at all before that happens.
On a similar note, Phil is also moving up to the Charlotte area! He and Jesse were here this weekend to drop off Skye and the Jeep, and to look around at places to live. I have a really good feeling about this. I'll spare you all the girly stuff, because no one ever wants to read that (;P), but I just have a good feeling. Three of my favorite people ever are going to be living right around me, and it'll be just like the old days, five or so years ago, and I can pick up where I left off.
I'm going to go open presents soon. Unfortunately, I went into my mom's room a few days ago to put something away... and saw a GH3 keychain, so I already know what my biggest gift is. I'll still be surprised, though!

After knowing one of my best and closest guy friends for five years, we've decided to date.
I have a job, a guy, and a mostly clear head about where I'm headed in life and what I want to do. There's nothing I can or want to complain about, and I'm just in a good place. I hope to stay in that place for a long, long time.
That's pretty much it. :]
